So I need help got a 602 Crate runs crisp under caution or on restart but a lap in it will do nothing but stumble. Go back under caution it cleans up and runs good on first lap?

I was told last night by a series that because that GM haven’t used twist off after 2017 , and that’s the reason so am I to assume that every time a chassis manufacture changes anything a quits making them those cars are illegal also?
